Executive VP, Operations & Chief Financial Officer
Todd Kobus was promoted to Executive Vice President, Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Canucks Sports & Entertainment on June 24, 2016. Kobus is responsible for all of the operations of Rogers Arena, including overseeing the organization’s Facility Operations & Engineering, Event Services and Hospitality Departments and works closely with the organization's Live Entertainment team. His responsibilities also include overseeing all financial aspects of Canucks Sports and Entertainment, including financial planning, reporting, and accounting and manages financial relationships with the National Hockey League, lending institutions and the external financial community. Kobus previously served as the organization’s Vice President of Finance and the Chief Financial Officer for nine years.
Prior to his tenure with the Canucks, Kobus was the Project Director of Budgets and Financial Planning for the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. He also worked as the Vice President of Finance for the Grizzlies NBA franchise in both Vancouver and Memphis.
Kobus is a volunteer Board Member on the 2010 Games Operating Trust Society and ViaSport BC and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of BC. He was named one of Business in Vancouver's Top 40 under 40 in 2008. Kobus lives in Vancouver with his wife Stephanie and his two sons, Zachary and Harrison.
